To support its growth, CILYX is looking for a mechanical design engineer to strengthen its consulting team.

Job Description

As a mechanical design engineer, you will join the mechanical and industrial design office team in Liège, working on consulting projects from our offices or directly at the client’s premises.

Your main tasks will consist of:

• Integrating as effectively as possible into the client’s technical team
• Carrying out studies and dimensioning in your areas of expertise: custom-made electromechanical machines, mechatronics, mechanical design of assemblies
• Demonstrate autonomy and respond effectively to technical requests;
• Contributing your technical expertise and experience to the client’s project;
• Relying on the Cilyx teams as needed for requests outside your area of expertise;
• Act as Cilyx’s ambassador to the customer.

Profile required

• Industrial or civil engineer (mechanical engineering);
• Minimum 3 years of industrial experience;
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software; proficiency in other software (Catia, Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus;
• Experience in manufacturing monitoring;
• Independent in their field of expertise and willing to share their knowledge with teams;
• Integrity, proactivity, and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team;
• Dynamic and motivated by industrial challenges.
