Job Description
As an industrial mechanical engineer, you join the Consulting team of the Engineering Business Unit at the Liège site.
Depending on the requests, you are required to share your expertise in industrial mechanics:
1. On consulting projects mainly, by carrying out industrial support and engineering missions within our client’s team;
2. On projects of the design office in Liège;
3. On pre-studies of automation of industrial lines
For industrial consulting projects, your main tasks are to:
• Integrate as well as possible into the client’s technical team (located in French-speaking Belgium)
• Demonstrate autonomy and respond effectively to technical requests
• Bring your technical expertise and experiences to the client’s project
• Rely on Citius teams as needed for requests outside your area of expertise
• Be Citius’ ambassador to the customer
For the projects of the design office, your main tasks are to:
• Carry out studies and sizing in your areas of expertise: custom-made electromechanical machines, mechatronics, mechanical design of assemblies
• Interact with the customer and coordinate suppliers for all technical aspects
• Bring your technical expertise to technical project meetings with partners
For pre-studies of industrial line automation, your main tasks are to:
• Understand and analyze customer expectations in terms of automation
• Write a complete functional analysis and propose technological solutions
• Carry out a general implementation plan
• Establish a budget and schedule in collaboration with stakeholders
• Be able to communicate, convince and interact with everyone
Profile required
• Industrial engineer with relevant experience related to the function
• Mastering one or more CAD software (Solidworks, Autocad, …)
• With industrial experience(s) of minimum 3 years
• Autonomous in his field of expertise and able to share his expertise
• Good command of French and English (a 3rd language is an asset)
• Integrity, proactive and willing to join a multidisciplinary team
• Dynamic and motivated by industrial challenges
